How we work

Understand the rules. Then decide.

A lot of Medicare conversations start with a commercial or a piece of mail. We start with your situation and with how Medicare actually works.

One conversation, not a teaser

An introduction to Medicare call is the real meeting. We ask about your current situation and what needs to be decided. Then we walk through how Medicare works on its own if nothing is added on top of it. Then we make recommendations based on your situation and what is available.

The goal of that meeting is for you to understand what is happening and what needs to be done — and for us to see whether we should be the team that sets it up and stays with you.

Two honest paths — not one favorite speech

We offer Medicare supplements and Medicare Advantage. Both exist for a reason. For many households that want predictable costs and to protect what they have saved, a supplement beside Original Medicare is the stronger match. For others, an Advantage plan can fit — including when a supplement is not available. We will say which we see for you, and why, after we know your situation.

The year after enrollment matters

Medicare changes. Formularies change. Your prescriptions change. That is why the team does an annual review: what Medicare updated, a customized look at your prescriptions for the next year, and whether your supplement or plan still belongs. Last year the average client who had their prescription analysis done saved about $1,200 for the year. The relationship continues through that yearly review. You are always welcome to call during the year when something comes up.

A team, not a single desk

You should feel comfortable working with our practice as a whole — the people who help schedule and prepare, and the advisors who may join as the relationship grows. The point is that you are cared for by a team, not dependent on one calendar.
